    The Bonios Plan: Beyond Dieting

    When I first decided that I would become an Intuitive Eater, I was thrilled beyond words at the prospect of being able to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted it.

    With the only guideline being to wait until I got hungry, I had carte blanche to eat all the time, or so I thought.

    As a Certified Energy Coach, I had a whole bag of tricks that I had used in the past and taught other women to use successfully to eliminate cravings, but I decided to set that aside to test out this amazing process. So there I was, just a gal, face to face alone with food for what seemed like the first time. The difference was that I was actually giving myself permission to eat whatever I wanted to whenever I was hungry and naturally I would stop when I was full, LOL!

    Focus On Favorites When the Scale Won't Budge and Times Get Tough

    When you're trying too hard to lose weight and notice that you are efforting to become an Intuitive Eater,  you're fighting an uphill battle. It's supposed to be a natural process and that means that it requires patience. If you find that you're trying to shortcut the process and make it work faster, that's when the scale just won't budge and your clothes will suddenly start getting tighter, and you just can't stop eating when you're no longer hungry, your body is telling you something. It wants something from you.

    In the past, you would have thought that it meant that you were weak and you just needed to be a bit tougher, get more committed, be disciplined. Now as a gal who is learning to make peace with all foods, you're learning that it's not about the food anymore. Having put dieting behind you, now you can focus on the other parts of life that have been pushed aside by your dedication to weight loss.

    Carol Look, EFT Master Uses Tapping To Bust Down Resistance to Losing Weight

    Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a trend. Many of my clients in my Losing Weight without Dieting Program have been experiencing resistance. After several weeks of great success, changed habits, more mindful eating, and paying attention to their hunger, several of them found that it had become very difficult to get motivated, feel excited about losing weight and truly relax into the process, consequently they fell back into patterns of overeating.

    I recognized that I was having the same struggles myself. When I decided to follow my own program privately alongside them, I noticed that I, too was slowly losing weight, food was losing its allure more than ever, I was craving salads like mad and overall I was becoming much more confident and self accepting of my own body. I was enjoying the skin that I was in! That's when I created the video that you'll see here on this site. I began the process of Losing Weight Without Dieting with my group at 199 pounds and over a short couple of weeks, I had lost 3 pounds.

    Right after doing the video in mid May, I noticed that I was getting really cranky with my husband, Angel, working in my home office around the clock, losing sleep, craving junk food again and eating way beyond the point of feeling satisfied. Feeling sexy was out of the question. After weighing myself  recently, feeling fat I discovered that I had regained those 3 pounds back again and was at 199 once more. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was struggling with some internal resistance but needed to explore it further. I decided that it would be great to address the groups' resistance as well as mine by making that the focus of one of my
    Free Weekly Juicy Woman Fabulous, Fit and Free calls. I was determined to hit this moving target!

    Thank You for Inspiring Me To Create This Online Journal

    As you may be able to tell from the previous post, I'm no expert at video. Truth be told, this is my first digitized video ever. My daughter,Cara shot the video a few weeks ago. It may not be the highest quality picture but the feelings conveyed are crystal clear. I'm about to make a really big deal out of thanking everyone for helping me with this effort. This endeavor is deeply meaningful to me for many reasons. I'll share more over the course of the journalling. For now, I'd like to express my gratitude.

    A big thanks to my dad for the wonderful gift of the great camcorder and to the fellows at Sony for sticking with me through the afternoon while editing the video. A huge and sincere thanks and a ton of gratitude goes to a colleague of mine, Lou Bortone, the Online Video Guy. With Lou's help, he taught me how to get my first video up on Youtube in just a few minutes. Thank you, Lou.

    Eat Less Effortlessly: Do the Middle of the Road Slide

    If you are a gal struggling with trying to eat intuitively, yet find that you are continually consuming more than you want at each meal; this exercise might be helpful to you. It's called the Middle of the Road Slide.

    As soon as you sense that your physiological hunger is beginning to get satisfied, take your plate and move it to the right or left, out of visual range.

    Resist the urge of wanting to do anything to destroy your food, such as wetting it, tossing cigarette butts or tea bags on it or pouring salt, pepper or hot sauce on the remaining food.

    What is Meant by “Energy” and Energy Coaching ?

    All around us we are surrounded by manifestations of life and energy. Typically when you think of universal power or energy, words like electricity, magnetism, gasoline or batteries come to mind. However this is not the source of energy that we work with when we use Emotional Freedom Technique or any of the other forms of energy coaching.

    The energy that is involved when we speak of energy coaching is sourced back to the origin of what powers the sun, batteries, electrical impulses, fossil fuels, our body, plants or animals. Since the beginning of time, everything animate and inanimate once broken down to its simplest form, is made up of the same energy. This energy is called Atomic energy. Consider that we are all living in a great sea of energy, connected to one another by a common thread.

    Zap Your Negative Self Talk, Powerboost Confidence and Begin To Enjoy Your Right To Bear Arms

    Yesterday I was shopping at Lane Bryant’s at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, New York. As I was about to go into the fitting room with an armload of clothes, a lovely woman stopped to compliment me on the blouse that I was wearing. It was a blue and green mosaic design short sleeved peasant blouse that I wear off the shoulder.

    I noticed as I looked at her eyes, there was a mournful expression in them. I wondered why. Then I smiled at her and said, you know this same blouse would look incredible on you. I pointed to the rack and told her, It’s still available. What do you think of getting it?  I watched her as her the once lovely smile that she had faded and the corners of her mouth turned downward into a sullen frown. Then she said, “Oh no, my arms are too fat. That type of blouse is not for me.” I told her that belief was probably coming from the little screaming meanies critics that have been perched on her shoulder, perhaps for years holding her back from wearing those types of blouses or doing other things that she wanted to do in life.
